The objective of this webinar is to show how an ISO 9001:2015 certificated company can transition to ISO/IEC 27001:2013, reaping the benefits of an integrated approach to certification.
ISO 9001:2015 has proven to be an internationally accepted standard for excellence in quality management systems. In this webinar, we will examine various methods of transitioning from ISO 9001:2015 to ISO/IEC 27001:2013, an information security standard used by a variety of organizations in multiple sectors.
We will discuss how to leverage certain practices to help meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2013. This includes leveraging the ISO high-level structure (Annex SL) to focus on mature business processes, including quality and information security.
Although the take-up of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 has been less than that of ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 does bring a host of benefits to the table, which will be examined in the presentation.
