General Product Safety and Managing Risk in Hardlines Seminar

Within the EU the General Product Safety Regulations apply to all products intended for or likely to be used by consumers (even if not intended for them) that are supplied or made available. The following types of consumer goods would fall within the GPSR:

• Nursery and juvenile products
• Leisure, exercise and sporting goods
• Household goods, such as kitchen and cookware
• DIY products
• Furniture and soft furnishings
• Hobby and art materials

This seminar will provide an understanding of how the regulations work in the UK as well as looking at how a simple but effective risk assessment process can be implemented.
