Stem cell-derived therapies are complex and diverse. Understanding the challenges associated with getting clinical trials approved for these therapies is critical. Conference attendees will discuss how some therapies have made progress toward clinical trials, particularly in relation to assessing safety. They will also look at areas where new technologies can fill vital gaps, such as in combination therapies with smart materials.

The conference will include presentations by leaders in the field. Richard Adair, SGS virology manager, will speak on “Considerations for biosafety testing of cell and gene therapies”.

Regulators, including, MHRA and FDA, will be joining panel discussions.

This conference will be of particular interest to pharmacologists, those working in toxicology, clinicians, academics and industry.

Join us and find out more about our comprehensive range of biologics safety testing services, including virology, cell and molecular biology, microbiology and electron microcopy, and how we can help you ensure product safety and meet regulatory requirements.

We look forward to seeing you there.
