Certification Services from SGS – Information Technology and Networking Event

Join us on Thursday 27 June 2019 to learn about the certification services available from SGS and how they can help you remain competitive in today’s industries.

The event will be hosted by SGS and open with time for networking over cocktails and canapés. The evening will feature a presentation by Ray Woodford, SGS’ UK Product Manager for ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 20000. Ray’s presentation will provide attendees with an understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and how it can benefit your organization.

This will be followed by a presentation by Marcus Allen and Mo Arshad, of Parker Management Consultants, on BS 10012 and the importance of data protection since the introduction of GDPR in 2018.

The event will be held in the Franklin-Wilkins building in King’s College, London and will cover both ISO/IEC 27001 and BS 10012 and explain how combining both standards can help organizations to effectively demonstrate compliance to both the privacy and information security requirements of GDPR.

The event will conclude with time for networking, providing attendees with the opportunity to speak to SGS experts.
