Background
Toy standards are continuously reviewed in order to stay up to date with safety principles, new products and designs, and technological advances. We want to keep you up todate with upcoming changes so that you are alerted before the standards' final publication.
Two major projects are ongoing for EN 71-1, relating to projectiles and cords. There is a third project, which is related to various subjects and is a result of various interpretation requests.

Sanda has 25 years experience in toy safety. She is an active member of the EU toy standardisation committee, CEN TC 52, and the EU Notified Bodies group.
