The EU Regulation 2015/757 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2015 on the monitoring, reporting and verification of carbon dioxide emissions from maritime transport came into force on 1 July 2015.

The Regulation is a binding legal instrument and requires large ships (over 5,000 gross tons and regardless of their flag) calling at EU ports from 1st January 2018 to collect and later report verified annual data on CO2 emissions and other relevant information.

SGS is pleased to announce a complimentary webinar for ship-owners and operators to explain the MRV’s implications and the related compliance obligations.

  • Verification process and how to prepare.

This webinar is presented by Francesca Cerchia, Global Product Manager, Carbon and Water.
