The aim of this webinar is to present the main non-conformities and key learnings from the first year of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 7.

Background

The BRC reviews and revises the Global Standard for Food Safety approximately once every three years. Issue 7 of the standard has been rewritten and was published in January 2015. All users of the standard have been audited to Issue 7 from July 1, 2015. Understanding the changes is key to successful implementation of the new and revised requirements and additional fundamental requirements.

Jeremy Chamberlain – Global BRC Product Manager
Jeremy is responsible for 3,500 BRC certificates delivered by SGS globally, witnessing audits around the globe, ensuring the consistency and quality of certification, Jeremy contributed to the writing of the Food Standard, as well as BRC Agents & Brokers and the shortly to be published Storage & Distribution schemes. Jeremy is also a Lead Auditor and trainer for BRC Food, Packaging, Storage & Distribution and Agents & Brokers. Prior to joining SGS, Jeremy gained experience in senior roles in international and independent food manufacturers.
