Course Overview

The seminar introduces the basic understanding of the knitting process, the needles used and their action in the machine and the different types of machines available to make different structures possible. Shaping panels and introducing patterning and making tights.

The seminar will cover the processes involved in knitting together with the language used and what is possible, together with shaping panels, patterning and making hosiery.

We encourage delegates to bring samples along for discussion during the day; this always introduces a level of spontaneity and makes the seminar much more interesting.
