What is a Product Conformity Assessment Programme?

Our Product Conformity Assessment (PCA) programme is a solution that enables trade facilitation. It helps to protect the interests of traders and ensures that specific products meet the requirements of the technical regulations and standards set by a regulatory authority in the importing country.

Importers benefit from a faster customs clearance process, as verification activities have been completed prior to shipment. Exporters avoid the risk of having their goods rejected at the country of destination due to non-compliance.

The conformity of products is evidenced by the issuance of a Certificate of Conformity (CoC), a document mandatory for customs clearance.

What is the Preapproved Labelling Service?

Preapproved labelling is an additional service that is provided to the current PCA programme for certain mandated countries. It includes reviewing, rectifying and approving artworks, nameplates, markings and labels against the destination standards to enable successful inspection and a smooth integration to market.

What is Registration of Goods?

Some PCA programmes offer the registration and licensing of goods to exporters. Using this service can benefit your business by accelerating procedures for processing the CoC as registered products do not have to undergo systematic inspections. Your goods will be released to market faster and you will avoid load-witnessing and container sealing in most countries.
