At SGS, we are continuously striving to improve our processes and deliver an even higher quality of service to our clients. To manage our large, ever-growing systems and services certification portfolio, we have undergone positive restructures and improvements across the business. This includes the appointment of additional expertise.

Ray Mooney


Ray has experience in Business Development functions within the professional services sector dating back to 2002. Educated to Masters level and qualified in risk, disaster and environmental management, he first joined SGS as an Auditor in 1995. He has since held a number of positions including Senior Auditor, Sector Specialist and Product Manager.

“Throughout my career, I have been exposed to a wide range of organisations and client expectations, and I enjoy building strong relationships with all of my clients. I pride myself on helping organisations solve their problems and achieve their goals. I see my role as providing business solutions and strategic value for clients – to me, the client’s success is my success.”

Aamar Iqbal


Aamar has had experience in Business Development and Sales since 2010, this has helped to build strong customer relationships and also exceed customer expectations. Covering the Midlands, North Wales and the North West, Aamar works with both new and existing clients to help them through the certification process and to make sure that they are receiving the best possible service for their business.

"I enjoy working for SGS and in my role as a Sales Executive I am passionate about understanding customers and building relationships. I see my role as a position in which I can help various businesses to achieve their goals while also creating awareness for our business and making sure all certification and verification requirements are met."

Emma Field


Having worked in various sales positions for 18 years, Emma’s in-depth sales knowledge helps to build relationships and ensure that all customers’ expectations are exceeded. Covering the Midlands and East Midlands area, Emma works closely with new and existing clients to ensure that SGS continues to provide the best service to meet customer needs.

"Since joining SGS, I have been able to work in different parts of the company, which has given me a greater understanding of the certification process from beginning to end. As a Sales Executive my aim is to help clients to meet certification requirements to help their organisations grow and achieve their goals, and promote SGS by creating awareness of the certification and verification process."

Kunle has been a Business Development Manager for five years, building strong business relationships, exceeding customer expectations and providing relevant business solutions.

Daniels Davies


Studying Business Management at University equipped Daniel with the expertise to understand the changing world of business on a national and international scale. Covering Wales and western UK, Daniel’s enthusiastic approach to working with new business is what drives his passion for sales.

"Having recently joined SGS, I was amazed to see the diversity that the role of a Sales Executive has to offer. Luke Williams


Luke joined SGS in 2006 as Regional Sales Executive, working with new and existing clients to guide them through the certification process. In 2010, he became a Sector Specialist for Medical Devices and IVD certification services. Working across the UK, he supports clients through the entire certification process.

Jon Julian


Sales Executive Jon has a track record within the hospitality and customer service industries dating back to 1995. An experienced services professional, Jon has specialised in the certification sector since 2007.

“I enjoy the diversity that working at SGS provides. It is just as exciting to be visiting a FTSE 100 client situated within central London, as it is talking to a two-man engineering firm based in a small industrial unit. I am passionate about meeting new people and learning about other industry sectors – as well as helping these organisations achieve their goals.”
